The Spanish Embassy in Japan is at the service of those nationals of Japan and Spanish citizens living in this country. On the Spanish Embassy in Tokyo, you can issue different documents at the Consular Office.
Normally, people attending to the Embassy request and/or issue legalizations, family books, consular registrations or cancellations, visas, new and renewal of passports, “Número de Identidad de Extranjeros” (NIE), birth and death certificates, among others. Most of them must be issued prior appointment and take their time to be ready. For instance, any document issued in relation to the Spanish Civil Registry by this Office will be entered equally in a book of registry in the National Registry of Spain.
